Abstract

This paper summarizes the technology of the Flat‐Trac II® machine and then demonstrates its capabilities as a tool for the 1990s. Specific emphasis is placed on the machine's ability to contribute valid data to the study of residual pull, highway speed uniformity, dynamic steer (sinusoidal and simulated step), behavior in the limit, and simultaneous steer, camber, and torqued behavior.
