This report describes an experiment to determine the length of a tread wear course and the repeatability of two fifth wheels used to make the measurement. The position of the fifth wheel in the convoy of four vehicles does not contribute significantly at the 95% level of confidence, nor does the difference in wheels. The course measured 397.749 miles (640.115 km) with a standard deviation of 0.115 miles (0.185 km).Abstract
